ADVOCACY & RESOURCES

Camille is a dedicated advocate for several important social causes

EHLERS DANLOS SYNDROME

Diagnosed with Classical Ehlers Danlos Syndrome at age 11, Camille has grown up battling chronic pain and invisible illness. Camille advocates for people to be mindful of invisible conditions like hers. "People think you're a unicorn when you win Miss America, and they don't think you have anything wrong with you, but that's so untrue," she said. "And that's the whole issue with EDS— people like me look like I'm 100% fine, but then have all these other things that I deal with." {Forbes}

MENTAL HEALTH & BODY POSITIVITY

Camille is dedicated to using her platform to spread information and reduce stigma associated with mental health conditions and body image issues. As a woman who has battled an eating disorder and lives with chronic anxiety, she wants to create an open environment to speak about these difficult issues. Camille is dedicated to being 'real' both in person and online to create a realistic image for those who meet her and follow her social media.
